When the body is given the space and the time and the tools it needs it is able to heal itself.
What is aromaZen?
aromaZen is a restorative, guided sensory healing journey using ‘vibrational medicine’ tools, including doTERRA essential oils, sound and spoken word.
Vibrational Medicine, or Energy Medicine, is based on the scientific principles that all matter vibrates to a precise frequency and that by using resonant vibration, balance of matter can be restored.
It is a three part process:
Part 1: Guided Meditation through the 7 energy centres (Chakras) from Base to Crown During this part of the journey, we use high vibrational doTERRA essential oils. We do this to deepen the practice through activating your kinaesthetic, olfactory and energetic senses.
Part 2: Guided Yoga Nidra - Body Relaxation Meditation You will be guided to create an intention that you wish to implant during the aromaZen Journey. This is intended to guide your soul towards manifesting something your heart truly desires. Once we transition into the Yoga Nidra process, you will speak your positive affirmation to yourself and plant it into your awareness. During this process, you will be guided to relax and release your body parts, and be taken on a journey that will connect to different parts of your brain and stimulate new energetic pathways. At the conclusion of Yoga Nidra, while in a deeply relaxed (zen) state, you will be guided to affirm your intention, setting it deep into your body and subconscious.
Part 3: Sound From your relaxed state of zen, there is nothing to do but be still and receive. We will flow into a beautiful harmonic soundscape. You'll be taken on a sonic journey through gentle earthy drum rhythms and the calls of the wild, to the distinctive tones of Tibetan bowls and high vibrational chimes.
Allow yourself to drift away as you deepen your experience and continue to release tension and restore inner balance.

Zen yoga is all about chilling out, feeling calm and happy to be you. We use basic breathing techniques, a few moves and a lot of smiling.
It’s all about slowing down to speed up.
When I first tried yoga, it was too slow….. but there was one class I always went to that actually helped my performance in work, play and study and that was a zen yoga class.
Now it’s my chance to share this with others.
Basic rhythmic breathing helps to balance both sides of our brain, allowing access to higher levels of concentration, awareness and some extra intelligence (with time).
Then we balance our body with simple yoga routines (asana's) that focus on connective tissue, flexibility and energy flow and then it’s time to balance our entire being with a guided, full body, yoga nidra (a 20 minute yoga sleep is the equivalent to a good 4 to 6 hours rest, depending on your personal constitution).
It’s about how you feel in your own skin and smiling and laughing at yourself along the way is encouraged.
Upon completion of the session your body will understand what it feels like to be ‘all together again’ and with time you will find your capacity to handle life stresses will improve and you will begin to feel calmer and more centered within yourself.
